Hey! Film still is good considering u doing story board. I think this is the most successful piece. I know its speed paint, but I don't know how long this is, so I won't talk about shapes cus I think you already know. It successful bec.the contrast of light and shadow. I think your give a pretty good color of light on his face, however I think you can even push the saturation. While the color of light is good, you lose the freshness of his skin tone in the dark. I think his skin tone is too dull. He is the focal point so his color is dominant the whole image. So the dull color on his figure makes the whole picture looks really muddy. That's wit I think!
Tks buddy! All my paintings are between 45 min to one hour. I really need to get better at the color man! Wish I'll have time to go out with u to paint from life sometime.
